OPC UA Tunnelling

OPC UA(Unified Architecture)는 Microsoft의 COM 기술을 사용하지 않으므로 DCOM 설정을 필요로 하지 않습니다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 OPC Client는 DA 기능만 지원하고 UA는 지원하지 않으므로, UA Server에 바로 연결하지 못합니다. OPC UA Tunneel기술은 OPC Server side에 OPC UA Server (Kepware는 기본 지원)를 사용하고, Client side에 OPC UA Client와 DA Client를 동시에 사용하여 (제품은 하나) OPC UA Server와는 UA로 통신하고, OPC DA Client와는 DA로 통신하도록 설정하므로써, DCOM 설정의 불편함을 제거하고 OPC UA 기술의 장점을 채택하면서도 DA 기술을 함께 사용할 수 있게 해 줍니다.
OPC Server side:
- Kepware OPC Server 사용 (UA & DA Server 동시 지원)
- Kepware OPC DA Client driver 사용 (3rd Party DA-only Server 사용시)
OPC Client side:
- Kepware OPC Connectivity Suite (아래 제품 모두 포함) 사용
- Kepware UA Client driver (to connect to OPC UA Servers)
- Kepware DA Client driver (to connect to OPC DA Clients such as HMIs)
