OPC Protocol Converter

OPC Server를 이용하여 통신 Protocol을 변환하기 위해서는 다음의 요소들이 필요합니다.

• Master Component
• Kepware 의 150+ 통신 Driver ("OPC Server")
• Any 3rd Party OPC Server
• Slave Component
• Kepware Slaves: Modbus TCP & RTU, SNMP Agent, AB ControlLogix, Siemens S7
• 3ra Party Slaves: DNP3, BACnet, IEC-60870-5-101 & 104...
• LinkMaster, Kepware Advanced Tags or any OPC Bridging Software

Case 1
HMI에서 발생되는 여러 Alarm을 OPC 통신으로 받아, Kepware Advanced Tags를 이용하여 미리 설정된 Modbus Slave address에 설비별 대표 Alarmr값을 실어주고 (예: 40001.01 for 설비1, 40001.02 for 설비2), Kongsberg 시스템에서는 Modbus/RTU protocol로 이를 읽는 방식이다.  Modbus Slave가 설치된 PC는 Kongsberg에게 Modbus/RTU 장비로 인식된다.

Case2
Siemens S7 데이터를 OPC Server에서 읽은 뒤 LinkMaster를 이용하여 IEC-60870-5-101 Protocol로 변환하고, DCS에서는 OPC 통신이 아닌 60870-5 통신방식으로 읽는 방식이다.  Slave가 설치된 PC는 DCS에게 60870-5 장비로 인식된다.
